2002
1,000 trees planted. Presence at Bath and West Show. Participated at event at Romulus and Remus statue on Mendips.

2003
30,000 trees reached. Committee members in group ascending Tor tower during restoration works. Founder member Jack Hepworth dies. GCS member in Basra.

2004
GCS supports repair of betrothal couple corbel in Market Place.

2005
Maurene Luckes dies. Glastonbury Footpath Walks reprinted. Meanwhile petrol reaches £1 per litre!

2006
Ian Rands awarded MBE.

2007
Members toured Dimmer dump.

2008
Trees reach 42,800.

2009
GCS grant to restore lantern and supporting arch to Lambrook St. Methodist Church gate. Members visit Bridgwater. GCS participates in Conservation Area appraisal.

2010
Chronicles of John Cannon - 18th. century Glastonbury schoolmaster and parish official ( and 5 & 6 x great grandfather of current GCS chairman) published. Trees reach 45,000. GCS 40th. AGM.

2011
Alan Fear becomes Chairman. Memorial tree to Fiona Brunsdon planted in Bushey Combe. Trees reach 47,500.

2012
GCS organizes beating of bounds of Glastonbury. Ian Rands retires as vice- chairman.

2013
Trees reach 48,000. Orchard planting at the Naish farm at West Pennard. Ash dieback arrives in the UK.

2014
John Morland dies.

2016
Several GCS members in Pylle Pageant.

2018
Dennis Allen dies.

2019
GCS supports St.John's Church re-ordering. Trees reach 50,000.

2020
GCS supports Hanover Square arch project.
The Society loses Jim Nagel, it's longstanding Newsletter and Website editor.

2021
John Brunsdon MBE dies.
